Chapter 1: Off to College
Caitlin Ciccone departs from her father who lives in NY, and moves to Holyfield, where she will be attending college. After she arrives at Holyfield, she takes a cab to college. The Cab driver, Annie, also goes to the same college. She told Annie to stop the cab at Prospero Gate, so that she could walk around and tour the campus. Phil McKnight is from San Diego, California, and is also going to Holyfield College.
Chapter 2: Entrance Examination
Caitlin walked around the campus, noticing a building that was not labeled on the map. As she walked by the theater hall, she read a sign that said the first performance of Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet, was going to be that night. In the Herald Newspaper she read about an old professor that donated his collection of rare books, and nobody knows precisely whats written in those books. She decided that she would talk to Bill, the newspaper editor, if she could be a writer for the paper.
Chapter 3: Go Fish
Phil meets his new roommates, Chris and Jimmy. Chris is from Pittsburgh and Jimmy is from South Carolina. Jimmy has a pet fish named Sigmund, that would not stop swimming rapidly in circles. Jimmy had fed it way too much food. Chris ran to the communal bathroom to empty out the fish bowl, thats where they met Leo, their freshman counselor.
Chapter 4: First Impressions
Caitlin met her roommates, Lucy and Juliet; both are really organized and neat. Juliet is from Minnesota and is thinking of majoring in psychology. Lucy is more into playing instruments, while Juliet is the more sporty type. Lucy is first generation Korean-American from Seattle. The 3 girls had decided that they would go to the opening of Romeo and Juliet after dinner.
Chapter 5: Study What You Most Affect
The 3 girls were considering going to the pizza place after the play, because the cafeteria food was disgusting. As the girls were making fun of the course titles, Mrs.Torres the English teacher, sat down with them and had a casual talk with them. Bill talked to the Phil and his roommates about their future career plans. Phil was the only one unsure about what he wants to do. The chapter ended with Caitlin leaving the table to go talk to Bill about the Herald Newspaper.

Sofia - you wrote a long summary of the book chapters that you read, but I can't tell if you like the book you are reading. If not, then at least post a shorter summary next blog. I want the people in the class to decide if they want to check out your book next time.
This blog is well done; I like the way it is set up. I agree with Mrs. Merrill, and I can't tell if you like the book you are reading.
Wow Sofia! you have really been doing good with this book and reading =] The summarys are quite long, but they really do a great job of explaining whats going on in the story. And since we are reading the same book, and i am not as far as you it does help me get more of an understanding.
keep on reading Sofia :D

Good summary it makes me intrigued to read more of the summaries than the actual books lol..
